This week in Social Studies we have been learning about the African American slaves and how they were mistreated. Back in the 18 hundreds there was a slave and her name was Harriet Tubman. She was the lady who got the nickname Moses, the reason why she got that nickname was because she saved so many slaves including herself and she took them to different places in America and even took some of them to Canada.
