Muffins Home Economics

On Friday in Home Economics we made Muffins. Instead of making big ones we made lots of small ones to make it healthier.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Wholemeal Flour
  • 1/2 cup White Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Mashed Banana
  • 1.4 cup Unsweetened low fat yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp Canola Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
Method:
  1. Heat Oven to 180 C.
  2. Mix together the wet ingredients.
  3. Sift and mix together the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix dry and wet ingredients together.
  5. Spoon 100g batter into each muffin tin and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until cooked through.

What is it's everyday and scientific name: Tulip

Where is your plant found, is it native to this country, is it used for anything: Central Asia and Turkey

Label 5 parts of the plant:

Roots: The bottom is the roots. The roots stay in the ground to keep the plant growing.

Stalk: The next part is the stalk. The stalk is the part of the plant that holds all of it up.

Leaves: The leaves use Photosynthesis, they regulate Oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapour.

Strawberry Seed: The Strawberry Seed's function is to help the strawberry grow on the plant.

Strawberry: The function of the Strawberry is to grow and then pick them to eat.
