Spaghetti bolognese

 Today I Cole will be writing a blog post about Spaghetti bolognese, first I will tell you about the ingredients the first ingredient is to peel and chop 2 medium onions, next you get  1 table spoon of olive oil, then you get 1 clove garlic and peel and crush it. After you get 500 grams of beef mince, after you will get 90 grams of mushrooms and slice them. Next you get a table spoon oregano or mixed herbs and put them in to mix it, after you get 400 grams of canned or chopped tomatoes, last you put in 300 mills of hot beef stock, that is the ingredients. Spaghetti Bolonese is a tasty and lovely food but I don't think it is healthy for you, hopefully you see my post.

Book Trailer About Goosebumps

Last week the non choir kids have been learning about Book Trailers, at the start I was working with Marshall T but then he was being to bossy so Michael and Matthew M asked me if I wanted to work with them and so I asked if Mr H if I could work with them and he said yes and after that me and Matthew walked off. We are doing Goosebumps for the book trailer. When I was with Marshall we were doing a storyboard but now that I am with Matthew and Michael we are doing a powtoon, powtoon is a website where you create like a sort of a movie. You can record what you are saying and you have to put a text box to write, you also can move little action figure dudes and drag them into the text box you are using. In the powtoon I had to say " I hate this Book Trailer"

Today the year 6's that were going to Hornby High went today, when they were away the rest of the kids stayed back and they done some work. Me and Emily done build with chrome, it is really fun because you can build stuff. Here is the link.

Flappy shark

The reason I am doing it about a flappy shark is because I like playing games that get you good scores and don't have cheats in them, the reason I done a shark is because sharks are fascinating. This is how to play, first you have to press run so the next thing will come up, there will be something on the screen so you will have to touch the screen to play and you just have to keep clicking but if you hit a obstacle you will have to start all over again. This week the seniors have been learning about Picasso, we had to be in a group of three. My group was Michael, Matthew and I, the topic was maths and by the way my favorite topic is maths

Calendar Art 2015

This is my Calendar Art. 

First you have to get like this compass thing and draw a circle where ever you want to draw it, then after you have to get a ruler and rule straight lines. Then you have to draw a tree and draw the branches on them. After, you colour the tree black and after that you have to colour around the tree red, yellow, orange and pink. Next you've got to colour the squares that are far away from the tree.

Kapa Haka

Last week the Kapa Haka went to Horncastle  Arena to perform for the Cultural Festival, there were at least two hundred and thirty nine people. There were about 11 schools there to perform. When one of the groups were up on stage we had to go to get into our piu piu. When we were about to get on stage but we had to get in our lines ready to perform. After the other group had finished we had to go on stage to perform, it was a exciting but nerve racking moment. When we started our first song I was looking for my parents. I thought they would of been at the top so I looked up the top but I couldn’t see anything so I looked at the front. I looked everywhere then at the end of the song I saw them. I was amazed when I saw them  because all of the other events like cross country and that they could never come because they had to stay at work. It was also fascinating seeing them because they are my whanau.

Sam Dickson Visit

Last week on Tuesday the whole senior syndicate had a special visit from a rugby sevens player, his name was Sam Dickson. The reason he came was to tell us about what he does in his spare time, what he does when his coach encourages him and his team, what he does when he is on the field playing and what he says when he is cheering for his team. Before he got into the classroom the senior syndicate had to come up with some questions to ask Sam Dickson but they had to be appropriate. There were pretty good questions from some of the people.
