 Personal Protective Equipment.


What is PPE? 


PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. This is the type of equipment that you have to use in the workshop


What are the basic requirements for PPE here at the HHS workshop?


The basic requirements include face protection (Glasses and Welding helmet), Ear protection (Ear Muffs), Correct Footwear, Overalls if you’re working around chemicals or dust.

Ordinary Clothing, Portable devices, Equipment used for sporting


Who pays for your PPE? 

The school pays for it.



Explain the different types/range of basic PPE that is available in the workplace. Headwear, Facewear, Clothing


What are examples of task-specific PPE?

Welding- Welding mask, Overalls.
